Raging Waters

We went to Raging Waters with Kim's family (Kellee, Jon and Brooklyn and Kevin, Paige, Brennen, Luke and Mom). We had a great time! Parker and Mykenna loved the lazy river, while Cambrie went with her cousin Brennen and Aunt Paige down the bigger slides! Kim and Kellee were able to go down some slides as well. It is nice to have family help with the kids. Thanks to all of you for the great day! Rob wasn't able to come because of football. Yes....the season has begun. :)

Family Car Wash

For Family Night we decided to wash the cars. It ended up being more of a water fight than washing the cars, but it was
fun!

















At the end Rob and I conspired to get the kids together for a picture and then dump the bucket of water over them. My timing on the camera is never the same so I took it a little early, but you see what is coming right. :) Oh our poor kids!





















Mykenna didn't think it was as funny as we did. It got her 20th outfit for the day all wet. (I am not kidding about how many outfits she goes through a day!)

She soon forgave us when she went and changed into a different outfit.

One of the things our kids love to do is go to the Children's Museum in Salt Lake City. Parker loves to play in the water and with the balls. Mykenna enjoys shopping, rock wall and the play house. Cambrie wasn't with us this day she was with Grandma and Grandpa Lake in Provo. Parker keeps telling us that we can move into the museum and it can be our house. Wouldn't that be fun! Great times!

July Activities

In July we went to Provo to visit the newest member of the extended Lake family. Cambrie is holding little Kamorah. Grandma and Grandpa Lake came from Oregon and spent some time with us as well.

We went up to Snowbird resort with some of Kim's family for a mini vacation. We had a blast with the kids. They have an Alpine slide, bungy trampolines, zip line, electronic bull and of course the swimming pools. In the beginning Parker was a little nervous to go on the slide by himself, but after a couple of rides with Rob he agreed to try. He did end up with a small burn on his arm because he got going to fast and try to grab the cement slide instead of using his brake, but after that he was racing Rob down the hill. They then spent the rest of the day on the slide. That was all Parker wanted to do. Cambrie loved spending the day with her cousin Brennen and doing all the activities. Cael started to get up on all fours and is getting close to crawling. It is crazy how fast the time goes. We can't believe he is almost 7 months old.

June Activities

This summer has been a great time! To start off Cambrie and Parker participated in t-ball and coach pitch. They both did very well and enjoyed playing.

They also attended a Summer Fun group at the Rec. center where they had crafts, games and great fun!

In June Matt, Jessie and Mollie came to visit. We went to Temple Square and spent the afternoon together. It was great to have them here and spend time with them.

There were several days spent at the Murphy's. It is always a good time when we can go to the Murphys!
