After doing some yard work and house work on Thursday and Friday we decided to take a day trip into Wyoming to visit Grandma Alva. We got up early and right before we were ready to leave Kenna got sick. We made a quick call to Grandma Linda and she agreed to keep Kenna home with her while we still went for the day. We missed having her with us, but she was pampered by Grandma all day long. It is always a great time when we go to visit Grandma Alva. It is a welcome change of pace. We got into Cokeville and had lunch with her and visited for awhile. We then loaded the kids in the van and went up Pine Creek to enjoy the outdoors. They love to get out and skip rocks in the river and just get away from "the city". I of course love how beautiful it is and all the pictures I can take of the kids. We later went back and enjoyed some more time with Grandma and then left to return home.

Snow - Oh not yet!
Yep, we woke up to snow this morning. It was very pretty, but I was not ready for it. It actually started snowing the night before and as soon as the flakes started falling Mykenna and Parker were asking if they could go play in it. We told them they had to wait until there was some on the ground and so they patiently waited until this morning. So we quickly got the snow gear on and out they went. They had a great time with one another!

Off to the Pumpkin Patch!
(Cambrie broke her wrist, so that is why her arm is in her coat.)
We have made it a tradition to go to J & J Nursery each year with the Murphy's. This year we invited other members of Kim's family, so the Englands joined us. It was a chilly day, but we were determined to get our pumpkins, especially when they were free! It was raining and slightly snowing in South Weber, but when we got to J & J's the weather was holding. We hoped on the hayride and headed out to the field. It is great to watch the kids hunt for just the right pumpkin and the excitement when they found it! Now we are off to paint them and display them on the porch! (It was too cold for Cael, so he stayed nice and warm at home with Grandma Linda.)

Cambrie's 10th Birthday!!!
WoW! Time does fly by! Cambrie is 10 years old. We had a great time celebrating her birthday with family today. She didn't want a birthday cake, but wanted brownies cut into different shapes. So that is what the birthday girl got. The day began with an AYSO soccer game and then home to presents and goodies. She opened some of her gifts before the game. She received an MP3 with a clock radio to hook it into and to help get her out of bed in the morning. She was very spoiled by grandparents and aunts/uncles and cousins. Thank you to everyone! Cambrie we want you to know what a blessing you are in our lives and we love you very much. Keep being a great example to your sister and brothers. WE LOVE YOU ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

While playing with Mr. Potato Head today the kids started putting the parts on themselves. It was so cute I had to take some pictures. Ryton even got in on the play.

Mykenna's First Day of Preschool
Mykenna started her 2nd year of preschool today. For her first day she had to bring her name made out of things that start with each letter. We had fun putting it together. She was so excited to go! She goes to Miss Julie's Preschool just a mile from our home. Miss Julie has been doing preschool for years out of her home and Kenna loves to go! She is getting so big. We are so proud of her!
