Oregon Coast!
What would a trip to Oregon be without a trip to the coast. We had such a great time! Once in Florence we stopped off at Mo's for some good food before we headed to the beach. We all had a great time! The kids loved jumping the waves, throwing rocks in the water, chasing each other, climbing the rocks, getting muddy and just being together! It makes you wish we lived closer to the ocean.
Swim Lessons in Oregon
Lauri and Grandma signed the kids up for swim lessons while we were in Oregon. It was great for the kids. Cambrie and Camryn were in the same class as well as Parker and Avery and Mykenna and Autzen. This worked out perfect and made it so that our kids weren't as nervous.
Parker of course was not wanting to go, but as always once in the water he was fine. Next step is getting him to actually listen to the instructor once in the water. There is always next summer. :)
Kenna had her moments as well, but she got braver with each lessons.
It was so exciting to see how Cambrie picked up the backstroke and wasn't has hesitant in the water!
We realized early on that swimming lessons would be easier if Cael stayed home with Grandpa. Thanks Grandpa for being his little buddy! When he did get to go, he just wanted to get right in the water. He was satisfied with this little puddle for a few seconds.
A BIG THANK YOU to Lauri and Grandma and Grandpa for taking the kids. Rob and I were only there for three lessons out of the two weeks and they took the kids the rest of the time! You are all so awesome!

Safety Fair!
There was a safety fair going on in Eugene so we gathered the kids up and went. Cambrie went early with the Wilkinsons so when we arrived Pete, Brooklyn and Cambrie were getting on this...
I got a little nervous when I saw it and heard she was going for a ride. But they actually went really slow with them and she had a great time! Thanks Uncle Pete!
All the kids got free helmets so rather than carry them everywhere we sent them home with Pete! Thanks again Uncle Pete!
For demonstrating how to STOP, DROP AND ROLL each of the kids got a free fire safety bag with a fireman hat. While Lauri stood in line Rob and I took the kids to sit in an airmed helicopter and then later see it take off.
Parker loved the dunk tank. Each kid had two chances to dunk the fireman. While everyone else went to the blow up jumping toys Parker stayed and watched the dunk tank.
It was alot of fun! Thanks Aunt Lauri for suggesting it!

Playground, Pizza & Pop
On Sunday we headed for Eugene to visit the rest of the family. After riding the quads and playing around at Grandpa and Grandma's house the family went to the park to play and have some good eats!

Look what we built...
At Uncle Pete and Aunt Kelli's house the kids never lacked for entertainment. Between the waterfall, hot tub, waterslide, inflatable jumping room, mega blocks, and trying to catch frogs the kids were always going, going, going! Parker built this castle and Kenna wanted to get in on the picture!
