After doing some yard work and house work on Thursday and Friday we decided to take a day trip into Wyoming to visit Grandma Alva. We got up early and right before we were ready to leave Kenna got sick. We made a quick call to Grandma Linda and she agreed to keep Kenna home with her while we still went for the day. We missed having her with us, but she was pampered by Grandma all day long. It is always a great time when we go to visit Grandma Alva. It is a welcome change of pace. We got into Cokeville and had lunch with her and visited for awhile. We then loaded the kids in the van and went up Pine Creek to enjoy the outdoors. They love to get out and skip rocks in the river and just get away from "the city". I of course love how beautiful it is and all the pictures I can take of the kids. We later went back and enjoyed some more time with Grandma and then left to return home.

Beautiful! That's one thing I really miss about Utah and Oregon: the mountains and the beauty. Texas beauty just doesn't cut it. Every Sunday my soul just yearns for a drive up the canyon, but we just don't have those here! We do have the beach 2 hours away, though, so that's nice.
Love all the family pictures - way cute!
What a beautiful place! Loved seeing the photos and I'm really just jealous that you have your mom to keep your sickie so you all could still go!
So I hear you now have another unexpected guest at your house. How's that going? You are truly a Saint Kim and we are all so appreciative of all you have been doing! Love you so much!!!
Sounds like fun!! I love that black and white picture of Parker, it looks like he's just playing walking down an old dirt road home.
Those are the most precious pictures EVER! Serous. Love you guys!
Looks like fun!
